Do you take the bus on a regular basis in Prince George?

If yes, BC Transit is hoping local residents can participate in upcoming public consultations to give feedback on how they can make its bus service better across the city.

The provincial organization and the City of Prince George say a Transit Future Action Plan is going to be developed for the northern-capital region based on identified priorities from five open houses this month, which, in turn, will support transit decision-making, service and infrastructure improvements.

“A Transit Future Action Plan will provide a vision and implementation strategy for improving the region’s transit network in the short to medium term,” reads a BC Transit statement.

Prince George’s public meetings for bus users to attend and provide questions, comments and/or concerns take place between Monday (March 9) and Wednesday (March 11).

Details are as follows:

MONDAY, MARCH 9

  • Pine Centre Mall
    • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TUESDAY, MARCH 10

  • UNBC Conference Centre
    • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Prince George Public Library, Second Floor
    • 2 to 5 p.m.

    • 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
