MONITORING THE SITUATION

The City of Prince George is closing all civic facilities as a result of of the 50-person policy, including all arenas (CN Centre, Kin Centres, Rolling Mix Concrete Arena, Elkscentre), pools (Prince George Aquatic Centre, Four Seasons Leisure Pool) and the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre.

Pine Centre Mall's owner Morguard is offering retailers the option to reduce its hours starting March 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, the mall itself will remain open during its regular work hours to help reduce the potential spread in addition to intensified cleaning, additional hand sanitizers and health and safety best practices.

Northern Lights Estate Winery says it'll remain open, but is ensuring daily sanitization after following the guidelines and recommendations of all new developments from the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Northern Health Authority, and delivery services are still available.
