Downtown Prince George is partnering with DineEasy to provide locals with a new delivery option that supports local restaurants.

The organization says the DineEasy service was created ‘local’ to support ‘local’, with the vision of empowering Prince George restaurants by providing a digital solution that will facilitate and enhance all aspects of the delivery experience.

The week from April 12 to April 18 is dubbed DineEasy Downtown Week and will offer free delivery from participating downtown restaurants to your door anywhere in city limits, including College Heights and the Hart.

All you have to do is go to eat.dineeasy.ca and look for your favourite downtown spot the order breakfast, lunch, dinner or a late-night snack.

“During the last year, the impact of the pandemic and the constant change continues to challenge us all, especially our downtown businesses. This partnership is so timely and opens a new option for our restaurants and the whole community”, says Colleen Van Mook, Executive Director.

“We saw a need to provide an alternative delivery platform that would leave more profits with the local restaurants and provide a high level of control over the ever-changing needs of this industry,” says Madison Street, Founder of DineEasy.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Cimo Mediterranean
  •  Betulla Burning
  •  Nancy O's
  • North City Donair & Poutine
  • Karahi King
  • Winston's Resto - Bar
  • Black Clover Irish Pub
  • The Twisted Cork
  • Shogun Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

We are looking forward to collaborating with DineEasy and Downtown Prince George to kick-off this new local delivery option. We hope it will be a busy and delicious week for everyone!” says Jadish Gill owner of Karahi King.
