If you see smoke in the area of YXS, don't panic.
The airport authority says routine fire training is taking place tomorrow (Aug. 5) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification," a release says.
The fire can produce smoke in and around the airport area, which has caused an increase in call volumes in concern of an emergency during past training.
