Environment Canada has ended its fog advisory for the Prince George area.

The low clouds have disspated out of the city after giving morning commuters near zero-visibility.

The fog in Prince George will be thick today (Jan. 15).

In a special weather advisory, Environment Canada says drivers should expect near zero visibility.

The fog is a result of a "strong inversion" that has trapped "an extensive area of fog" over PG.

The blanket of fog will dissipate into patches by this afternoon, notes Environment Canada.
