Mounties in Prince George are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 37-year-old man.
On Oct. 21, police say they received a report that Jeremy Shipley Bekken was missing from his Sinclair Mills residence and has not been seen since Oct. 16.
RCMP attended the home, which is in a rural area some 100 kilometres east of Prince George. Once arrived, they found Bekken's car and wallet and his two dogs.
A police service dog was deployed but was unsuccessful in locating Bekken.
Police say his disappearance is unusual, but they do not believe foul play is involved at this time.
Bekken is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 183 cm (6'0")
- 64 kg (140 pounds)
- Blue eyes
- Long dark blond hair with scruffy facial hair
- Wearing: Black jeans, black jacket and a toque
If you have any information on his whereabouts, you are asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
