PHOTOS: Prince George’s Hospice Dream Home Lottery officially opens

This $640,000 house could make your dreams come true

You’ve got another chance to win a brand new home while supporting a Prince George charity.

The 2019 Hospice Dream Home is ready to go!

Located in the Nechako View Subdivision, this year’s dream home is appraised at $640,000.

The rancher style-home looks cute and cozy from the street, but the inside is even more impressive.

At approximately 3,800 sq. ft., the house has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and six brand new appliances.

“The Dream Home Lottery is really important to the Hospice Society. It’s our biggest fundraiser and allow us to provide the service that we do. Without the Dream Home Lottery the service at hospice just wouldn’t happen,” says Donna Flood, executive director of the Prince George Hospice Society.

The home was built by Lithium One Homes and over 40 local sponsors came together to make the dream home possible.

“We want to thank our community that continuously supports us with this lotto. We are really hoping for another sell-out. This would be our fourth year with a sell-out so we are encouraging everyone to come out and buy a ticket,” adds Donna Flood, before the ribbon cutting officially opening the lottery.

Tickets for the dream home are $100 each and 10,999 tickets will be sold with the grand prize draw for the home scheduled for Oct. 25, 2019.

There are also early bird draws to help entice early ticket purchases.

The first early bird draw takes place on July 26 which features 40 50/50 Hospice Raffle Tickets valued at $1,000.

Two other early bird draws with major prizes will take place on Sept. 13 and Oct. 4

Up to $15,000 cash will also be up for grabs in the annual Hospice 50/50 Raffle Draw. Tickets are $25 dollars each and the 50/50 draw will be held on Oct. 11.

“We don’t need to tire ourselves to being a last-minute town, we would love for people to come out and buy their tickets right away,” says Flood.

You can get the Dream Home Lottery, and 50/50 tickets at the dream home itself (4034 Brink Drive) as well as the Prince George Hospice Society (1506 Ferry Ave). Other pop-up locations will be announced on the Hospice Dream Home website. You can also take a virtual tour of the home
