Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in the early hours of Sunday morning (May 26).
At 5 a.m. 15 firefighters from three halls responded to a reported residential structure fire at 300-block Kelly Street.
On arrival, crews found the back of a residential structure on fire with heavy black smoke coming from the rear of the structure. After a fast attack by fire crews were able to knock down and extinguish the fire quickly.
There were no occupants in the structure at the time of the incident and there were no injuries to fire personnel. The loss of the structure is estimated at $180,000.00
Prince George Fire Rescue says the cause of the fire is undetermined and is under investigation.
