A flight out of Prince George to Vancouver has caused the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) to warn passengers of exposure.

Passengers on Air Canada Flight 8212 on Aug. 21 from Prince George to Vancouver are being asked to self-monitor themselves for 14 days after a confirmed COVID-19 case.

The warning says rows affected are six to 12.

Since March 27, passengers seated near a case of COVID-19 who was recognized after arrival are no longer being directly notified of their potential exposure but are asked to check online.

"Where information on affected rows is available, passengers seated in these rows should be considered to be at higher risk of exposure due to their proximity to the case," the BCCDC says.
