A Prince George staple will be no more.

The Alibis Show-Lounge announced on Facebook last night (Oct. 15) it will be closing its doors permanently after nearly a decade of business in the downtown core.

The post thanks all visitors, staff and the community for its support.

"Well the time has come for the Alibis to shut the doors," the announcement reads.

"We love you all and we thank you for supporting us as patrons, customers and most of all friends! To our dancers you ladies killed it and you were total professionals and friends.

"To our staff your dedication and professionalism was second to none... until we meet again."

Alibis' closing has garnered reaction from the public expressing disappointment, but also its gratitude towards the entertainment club owners.
