Make sure to hold onto your hat today, it may get windy!

Environment Canada is calling for clouds with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning. The wind will pick up to 20 km/h later in the afternoon from the south with a high of 18 C.

The forecast tonight isn't favourable for the wildfire situation. Clouds will stick around overnight with rain beginning in the evening. The bad news: there is a risk of thunderstorms in the evening and overnight.

Precipitation levels are forecasted to reach between five to 10 mm. Wind south will continue at 20 km/h until midnight where winds will become west at 20 km/h.

There is a smoky skies bulletin for Prince George. Environment Canada says wildfires over the central and northern interior continue to produce smoky skies.

"Increasing southerly flow today will likely spread smoke from wildfires south of the border into B.C. A wetter, cooler and breezier pattern toward the end of the work week is expected to improve air quality conditions across the province," the bulletin reads.
