Welcome to the last Saturday of summer.

Prince George is going to experience mainly sunny skies today (Sept. 21) as predicted by Environment Canada.

By the afternoon, there will be a shift to increasingly cloudy weather with a 30 per cent chance of showers and wind gusting as much as 40 km/h.

Clouds will stick around into the evening with the same chance of showers and even more rain expected to downpour by midnight.

The high will get to 18 C before dropping to the daily low of 10 C.
