PHOTOS: Sprinklers left on at this B.C. college leave frozen art

The recent cold weather has caught many people off guard and trying to catch up on fall work like blowing out irrigation lines.

Jody Dean was going for her morning walk at Okanagan College in Vernon and came across an area where the sprinklers had been on overnight.

The combination of sub-zero temperatures and water created some spectacular ice art on trees, shrubs and a fence.

The long weekend forecast in the Okanagan calls for highs slowly warming up to 10 C by Monday and overnight lows in the single digits.
