Another local business is being forced to close its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gibson's Landing Athletics will be no longer, announcing on social media that the company has now closed.

"Everyone has been affected by Covid-19 in one way or another. GLA is no different," a Facebook post reads. "We’ve all adapted to COVID-19 and what is now our 'new normal.'

"Even though the GLA location is closed, this transition once again has showed us how supportive and strong the GLA community is. Every one of you have shown us your support and GLA is truly thankful for you all."

Although Gibson's Landing will be gone from Prince George, it gives thanks to everyone supported them for so long.

"Thank you to all our members, coaching staff, Prince George Spruce Kings, [the] community of Prince George, and our family for all your support.

"Thank you for all the great memories filled with laughter, love and fitness we have created over the last three years. We will always have a special place in our hearts for GLA and the community that we all have built."

Another local gym, CrossFit Prince George, announced in April it was closing due to COVID-19 and being unable to sustain the business.
