It's getting warmer out as the summer moves along and you don't want to get dinged for forgetting about water restrictions in Prince George.
Restrictions are in effect 365 days a year, with fines being $50 if you get caught sprinkling when not permitted.
Sprinkling is allowed for houses with even numbers on even numbered days while houses with odd numbers can water within the allotted times during the day.
Western acres are as follows:
- No sprinkling from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The following properties are also included: Cinch Loop, Hartman Road, Cantle Drive, Corral Road, and Western Road, and the frontage road north of Highway 16 West, from the 8100-block, Highway 16 West to the City's western boundary
All other areas face restrictions from noon to 5 p.m.
Enjoy the warm sunny weather today! Just a reminder, watering is prohibited from noon to 5:00pm (the hottest hours of the day) in the City. Sprinkling is permitted for odd house numbers on odd numbered days and even house numbers on even dates.
