More details are being released about a Prince George targeted shooting on Friday (April 5).

Police say they received multiple reports around 4:15 p.m. that afternoon of gunshots in the 2200-block, Quince St., which left one man with a gunshot wound.

Once arrived, the investigation led officers to believe an altercation happened between two groups believed to be known to each other.

Prince George RCMP arrested one of four suspects nearby, 31-year-old Kyle Devro Tegee, while the lone victim was found in a dark-coloured SUV shortly after.

The man was taken to hospital with what police say were non-life threatening injuries.

Police say West has also been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon dangerous to public peace. Tegee also faces other charges including obstructing a peace officer.
