Sound familiar?

The UNBC Timberwolves women's soccer squad has found out who they will play in the first round: the Manitoba Bisons.

It might be deja vu to you because it's the same opponent the women were matched up in their first-round playoff game last season where UNBC won a thriller in penalty kicks.

It was the first Canada West playoff win in program history.

So here they are once again.

The T-Wolves completed the 2019-20 season against the UBC Thunderbirds on Oct. 19 with a 3-1 loss to finish the season with a record of 3-7-4.

UNBC claimed the sixth and final playoff spot in the Pacific Division with 13 points.

The leader of the division, the Trinity Western University Spartans finished with a 12-1-1 record and 37 points.

Manitoba finished their season with a 2-0 win over the Lethbridge Pronghorns, also on Oct. 19, and hold a 8-5-1 record.

The Bisons finished third in the Prairie Division with 25 points, while MacEwan finished first with 30 points (9-2-3).

The rematch this year is set for this Friday (Oct. 25) at 11 a.m. Pacific.
