Four volunteer fire departments on the outskirts of Prince George tackled a fire this morning (Oct. 28).

At 7:21 a.m., Buckhorn Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) received a call reporting a structure fire on Buckhorn Lake Road and attended the blaze with four apparatuses.

Ferndale/Tabor Volunteer Fire Department, Red Rock Volunteer Fire Department, and Pineview Volunteer Fire Department also went to the incident.

There were seven total fire apparatuses on scene, and crews are still there performing mop up on the site.

The Regional District of Fraser Fort George (RDFFG) says it does not yet have information about damage assessment, cause or injuries.
