Thursday, June 6

  • 5 - Queensway Auto World Red Sox
  • 3 - D.O.B Contracting Gladiators

Another day, another victory for the undefeated Red Sox.

Both teams had nine hits and a near-clean slate as the Sox committed the only error in the game that got Gladiators’ catcher Chris Allard to second base.

Pitcher Ajay Nickolette earned the win with three strikeouts.

Friday, May 31

  • 1 - Inland Control and Services Tigers
  • 0 - JRJ Construction Orioles

This contest needed an extra eighth inning after no score through regulation, when Tigers’ pitcher Cole Laviolette, in his first at-bat of the game, got to second on a critical error by the O’s.

Catcher Reg Berry was next to bat and his RBI single, followed by the Tigers’ three-up, three-down bottom half of the frame, sealed the victory.

The win comes in spite of a brilliant pitching performance by Tigers’ Jon Bourassa, throwing 12 strikeouts which included seven that left the batters looking.
