What a steel; Prices slashed for Prince George’s Judas Priest concert to celebrate album anniversary

Tickets cut down to $39 this week to recognize band’s ‘British Steel’ release 39 years ago

Still on the fence about witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience in Prince George?

Well, maybe this deal on the upcoming Judas Priest concert at the CN Centre this summer could change your mind.

The heavy metal group is set to rock B.C.’s northern capital for the first time ever, but this week, they’re celebrating a milestone of their own.

On Sunday (April 14), it’ll be the 39-year anniversary release of ‘British Steel,’ arguably the band’s most successful album, and in rock history, as it’s ranked third on Rolling Stone’s ‘100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time’ list.

Infamous tracks on ‘British Steel’ include Breaking the Law, Living After Midnight, and Rapid Fire.

As a result, TicketsNorth is honouring the celebration by cutting ticket prices down to $39 a pop starting today (April 10) for the next five days, lasting until Sunday before midnight (11:59 p.m.).

The Firepower show is set for Friday, June 14 with special guest Uriah Deep.

Prince George is one of four B.C. stops for Judas Priest, including Dawson Creek, Kelowna, and Abbotsford.
