When you are looking for good, honest and reliable transportation, the logical place to find it is from a good, honest and reliable business.
That’s what Terry Trip, owner of PG Dynamic Auto Sales & Service, has been providing to customers in the Prince George area for the past two decades.
A self-confessed “car-guy” – he proudly owns a classic, 1960 Chevrolet El Camino. Terry says the business grew from his own need to find a good source for vehicle repair and maintenance.
“While I’m not a mechanic, I taught myself to work on all of my own equipment. I then got a group of very qualified people to work with me when it came to the automotive repair business,” says Terry.
From there, Terry ventured into the vehicle sales end of the industry. “We were working with clients’ cars, began picking up vehicles as trade-ins and some from auctions. We decided to start another branch of the business and that was Sales 15 years ago,” states Terry.
And to round things out, a decade back, PG Dynamic Auto Sales & Service added Vehicle Rentals to the business. PractiCar Car & Truck Rentals, which evolved from Rent-A-Wreck, is a locally owned franchise.
“Now we have a total of three businesses to serve people, covering pretty much whatever their automotive needs are,” says Terry.
One of the advantages of having PG Dynamic’s Sales & Service under one roof is the reassurance it provides customers that they are buying a good, reliable vehicle which comes backed with a 90-day powertrain warranty, plus an option to purchase a longer term if required. A safety inspection and a Carproof history are also included.
“All of the vehicles we acquire go through our shop for inspection and, if needed, have work done on them to make sure the customer is getting a safe vehicle in good working order and that they can feel confident about,” says Terry.
